Our annual flagship event, will take place on 13 June at the ICC, Birmingham and we have some exciting changes planned.

What’s changed?

We have listened to your feedback and for a more informal atmosphere we have relaxed the dress code- we have decided to scrap the black tie rule.

And there will be a panel discussion led by BBC Midlands Political Editor, Patrick Burns. We are very excited to announce our fantastic speaker line up:

  • CBI President, Paul Drechsler OBE
  • West Midlands Mayor, Andy Street CBE
  • Frances O’Grady, General Secretary of the Trades Union Congress
  • Estelle Brachlianoff, Senior Executive Vice-President UK & Ireland, Veolia

We will also be joined by the fantastic  John Pienaar, British journalist who is currently Deputy Political Editor for BBC News, and presenter of Pienaar's Politics on BBC Radio 5 Live.

There will be plenty of opportunity for networking as we plan to reduce our sit down courses from 3 to 2 as our desserts will now be served as canapes enabling you to enjoy and also have a walk around to find those key contacts you would like to network with, using our CBI brochure to help with this.
