Hear the latest insights and updates from the CBI's EU Negotiations team.

At the end of March the EU Council is scheduled to meet, which will be a critical juncture in the Brexit negotiations. During this meeting the EU27 leaders are expected to come to a decision on the transition phase, the Brexit divorce bill will be legally drawn up and Michel Barnier will be given a mandate by the EU27 countries to negotiate the EU’s future relationship with Britain.

Join us in London on the 24th April to hear the CBI’s EU Negotiations team share their reaction to this EU Council meeting. They will discuss what this means for business in terms of transition and future trade, as well as how your organisation can start planning for Brexit Day 1.  The team will also share recent political intelligence from CBI meetings with ministers in the UK and stakeholders across Europe.

A Q&A session will then be held so attendees can share their own thoughts and examples of how they are preparing for Brexit Day 1. These shared perspectives will support the CBI’s discussions with government departments, as we urge negotiators on both sides to reach a clear agreement around the future relationship by October this year.
