Shaping policy – Raising R&D, Region by Region
The government’s Industrial Strategy commits to delivering a step change in the UK’s R&D performance by introducing an ambitious commitment to raise R&D investment to 2.4% of GDP by 2027. But if the UK is to raise R&D investment from 1.7% to 2.4% of GDP it will require a nationwide R&D movement. This roundtable will consider how we can stimulate R&D investment nationwide by investigating how policy can better deliver for the diversity of business research and innovation that takes place across the UK.
