Professor Simon Mosey, University of Nottingham will share examples of organisations large and small, from the public and private sector that have found novel ways to cover come barriers to innovation.
This session will conclude with a checklist of approaches that delegates can consider developing in their own organisation.

Fostering a culture of Innovation and Agility – Ricoh UK
Mike Baddeley, Head of Innovation and Strategy will examin what does agility and innovation actually looks like (and what it means!), how can space, technology and process influence an organisation’s mind-set and the fundamental building blocks to driving cultural change.

Commercial Success in Innovation - Browne Jacobson

During this session you will consider the options and strategies available for creating value from innovation. This will include: 

  • Processes needed to turn R&D into patent applications;
  • To patent or not to patent? Aspects to consider
  • Collaboration, licensing, sales and assertion of IP rights, including getting value from non-core IP.
