At the CBI, we are working hard to ensure that the government’s vision for the future of the UK economy is one where all regions of the UK are able to thrive. We therefore invite you to the CBI policy consultation on Industrial Strategy.
We are delighted to invite you to a the CBI policy consultation on industrial strategy.
We are pleased to welcome Mia Anderson, CBI’s Head of Regional Policy and leading our work on the Industrial Strategy, for what will be an informative and engaging session.
This event will provide you with a valuable opportunity to engage with Mia following the publication of the government’s long-term vision for the future of the UK economy on 27th November. The government’s Industrial Strategy aims to boost productivity and earning power across the country by focusing on five key foundations: Ideas, People, Infrastructure, Business Environment and Place. Sector deals were announced for construction, life sciences, artificial intelligence (AI) and automotive industries and the strategy also sets out a number of grand challenges which focus on global trends including: growing the AI and data-driven economy, clean growth, future of mobility and our ageing society.
At the CBI, we are working to ensure that the government’s vision for the future of the UK’s economy is one where all regions of the UK are able to thrive. The Industrial Strategy must increase living standards for everyone living in the UK and enable all regions to develop and champion their own economic strengths. The CBI is now in the process of gathering the views of members towards the overall strategy, sector deals, grand challenges and how we can contribute to ensure that the Industrial Strategy maximises the strengths of the East of England region moving forward.
Due to the demand for this session, we are restricting places to one representative from each organisation. Places areue limited so please book at your earliest convenience to avoid disappointment
