Strategic partner

Join small and medium sized businesses for insightful discussion around the topical issues affecting their business in Northern Ireland.

Join us for an insightful discussion on ‘Finance for Sustainable Growth’, in partnership with BDO, which takes place on 24 May at The Merchant Hotel Belfast.

The breakfast event is part of the CBI’s SME/MSB Network series - a forum for small and medium sized businesses.

Chris Wilford, CBI Principal Policy Adviser, Financial Services, will lead the discussion and provide insight into the increasing role that financial services play in helping business to deliver growth. He will also update you on how Government is taking the scale-up challenge seriously with a raft of measures in response to the Patient Capital Review and the Industrial Strategy.

Also joining Chris is Euan Baxter, British Growth Fund. Euan works within a team of four that covers the Northern Ireland market for BGF. Since joining BGF in 2015 he has led growth capital investments into a number of businesses.  As well as making new investments, Euan also provides support to existing portfolio companies

We are also looking forward to hearing from David Ausdahl II, Managing Director of Lowden Guitars, who will tell the company's amazing story of growth and development, including a few famous name drops on the way!
